Its that time of year!

You've made it through the summer and now its time to get the house back in shape for the school year. Here are some tips and tricks to keep back to school clutter from taking over your house.

Back packs, shoes and school supplies

Leave it all at the door. Create a spot, whether it be in the front foyer, utility room or back door to park shoes, back packs and school supplies. Having a shoe tray and leaving shoes at the door will cut down on a lot of unnecessary dirt and dust being tracked throughout the house. Install hooks for backpacks to hang so they don't wind up tossed on the floor. A shelf or cubby for empty lunch boxes or school projects are a great idea too. White boards and calendars work well in this area also. Life can get hectic between school meetings, sports practices, doctors appointments and well just everyday life. Keep everyone on the same page with a family note board or calendar. Best of luck to everyone in the up and coming school year
